My 7 Days of Notion Challenge with 100 School
Welcome to my blog where I'll be documenting my journey through the 7 Days of Notion Challenge with 100 School! I'm excited to share my experiences, learnings, and how I'm transforming my productivity and organization skills.
Day 1: Getting Started with Notion
Today marks the beginning of my Notion journey with 100 School. I set up my account and learned the basics of navigating the platform. The interface was initially overwhelming, but after following the tutorials, I began to appreciate its flexibility.
Key Learnings:
- Understanding the building blocks: pages, blocks, and databases
- Creating my first page and organizing content
- Customizing my workspace to match my workflow
The most surprising aspect was how quickly I could adapt Notion to my specific needs. Unlike other tools I've used before, Notion doesn't force you into a specific way of working.
Day 2: Setting Up My Dashboard
Today I focused on creating a central dashboard that will serve as my command center. This is where I'll track my goals, projects, and daily tasks.
What I Created:
- A goals tracker with progress bars
- A projects database to monitor ongoing work
- A daily tasks section with checkboxes
- A quick links area for my most-used resources
I'm already seeing the benefits of having everything centralized in one place. No more jumping between different apps to manage different aspects of my work!
Days 3-7: Coming Soon!
I'll be updating this blog daily as I progress through the challenge. Some topics I'll be covering include:
- Creating advanced databases
- Using templates for consistency
- Implementing the PARA method for knowledge management
- Integrating Notion with other tools
- Building a second brain system
Stay tuned for more updates as I continue this learning journey! Feel free to share your own Notion experiences or ask questions in the comments below.
💡 Pro Tip: The key to success with Notion is to start simple and gradually build complexity as you become more comfortable with the platform.
